Our Club has been assisting Adelaide dog owners to socialise and train their dogs and puppies since 1955.

Once your puppy/dog is fully vaccinated, members may join the club on the last Tuesday of any month and attend a new members talk. Training then occurs each Tuesday until the end of November. Classes are held morning and evening. 


All our instructors are experienced dog handlers/trainers.

The next new members intake will be held 25 January 2022.

Social distancing will apply as will QR code log in. 

The  Trophy Presentation will be held on Thursday 18 November 2021,at the Clubrooms from 6.30pm.

In addition time will be available to discuss the proposal to move to a term based training and fee structure for obedience training members. Please visit the event page for a copy of the proposal.

PLEASE NOTE: The AGM is postponed until a date to be fixed, most likely mid January 2022.



A Dog Fun Day will be held on Sunday 21 November

from 10.00 am.

Members will have an opportunity to put their dog

through basic rings for obedience and rally.

Other trialling disciplines will also be available.

Dog information stands, grooming and massage

will be available.

Christmas toys, leads and treats will be available

for sale. 

A sausage sizzle will be available.

SAODC Hot Weather Policy:

If the forecast maximum temperature for West Terrace Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) , broadcast at 8am on the day,
is 32C or over, morning classes will not be run.

Tuesday evening classes will not run if the West Tce BOM temperature at 5pm is 35C or above.

Training will not occur during wet weather (continuous heavy rain, high winds, thunder,  lightning etc).
